Nurturing Soft & Beautiful Skin Naturally

Every woman wants soft & beautiful skin, but many of them have a difficult time getting what they want. The idea of beautiful natural skin may or may not be appealing to you, but as time has gone by, we have learned that naturally occurring ingredients are better for the skin’s health and its appearance. So, if all-natural has not appealed to you in the past, take a moment to consider it.

First of all, beautiful natural skin does not necessarily mean “no makeup”. It simply means that the colors are appropriate, not clownish, and that the pigments are from naturally occurring minerals like zinc oxide, rather than lead-based dyes or other hazardous chemicals.

A recent study by the Environmental Working Group showed that most women’s lipstick contained lead, a hazardous heavy metal that causes brain damage and contributes to heart disease. It’s been banned from paint and pipes, but companies are still allowed to use it in things that we put directly on our bodies and even around our mouths. It doesn’t make sense.

If you want soft & beautiful skin, the very first step is to stop using creams, lotions or cosmetics that contain

Artificial colors
Added fragrances
Artificial preservatives
Mineral oil or petrolatum
Petrochemicals
Those compounds detract from beautiful natural skin by causing blemishes and rashes, clogging the pores and interfering with the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes.

Other ingredients contribute to soft & beautiful skin by improving moisture content and softening, helping to heal blemishes and prevent new ones from forming, while supporting the skin’s natural reparative processes and stimulating the production of new cells and fibers.

That might seem like a lot for a cream or lotion to do and there is no single ingredient that does it all. But, there are creams that contain a number of different active ingredients to help you keep beautiful natural skin, regardless of your age.
