However, if your wristwatch is water resistant, it might be a good idea to at least rinse it thoroughly whenever you wash your hands. Just be sure to dry it just as thoroughly as you washed it to ensure that it continues to function properly.
World Health Organization Guidelines For Reducing Your Risk Of Infection
According to the World Health Organization, “you can reduce your risk of infection if you:
- Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
- Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or flexed elbow.
- Avoid close contact (1 metre) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.”
